Tom Apel, K5TRA, built this rack mounted uhf and vhf allstarlink node cluster which is located on top of the 15 story Cambridge Tower at the corner of MLK and Lavaca Street near UT and the Texas History Museum. The frequencies are 145.65 and 446.225 simplex with no tone. Please join us on our open network. We are linked to the AB5N Hot Springs Arkansas network 24/7. The nodes have a range of 30 to 40 miles and we welcome signal reports from hams using these nodes all around the Austin area.

Stay tuned on repeater.org for a description of our newest node cluster in Cedar Creek, Bastrop County, TX which is on the 442.250 repeater (180.1 PL tone) and the “triple nickel” 145.55 simplex no tone.
