This schedule shows topics to be covered in each class session. It also provides reading for "homework" which should be done before each session (please pre-read the intro). The book for this course is the ARRL's "Extra Class" book, available at Austin Amateur Radio Supply, or at most Radio Shacks in the area. Other books, such as Gordon West's, older ARRL or Radio Shack publications are welcome, but class references will be from ARRL's book. Best results can be obtained by spending at least 30 minutes per day in relaxed study. 5wpm Morse code instruction will be self-paced.
