Upgrade Class Syllabus
This schedule shows topics to be covered in each class session. It also provides reading for "homework" which should be done before each session. The book for this course is the ARRL “General Class License” manual, and will be provided to all who pre-register. Other books, such as Gordon West’s or Radio Shack publications are welcome, but class references will be from the ARRL book mentioned. 5wpm Morse code instruction will be self-paced.

Class Session 1 -- June 17
Subjects: Introduction to General license and
privileges, Morse Code, FCC Rules & Regulations, Operating, how best to use
the book.

Radio-wave Propagation, Amateur Practices.
Anderson High

Friday evening, begin operation Sat at 1PM.
Contest is 24-hours long till 1PM on Sunday. BBQ dinner at 6PM Sat.
