Upgrade License Classes -- Escondido
The American Legion of San Diego
County, known as the 22nd District, in cooperation with Escondido American
Legion Post 149 has provided a meeting location for the Escondido
Amateur Radio Society to hold upgrade licensing classes in the North County.
The classes will start on July 10, 2003, and will be approximately 12 weeks and will be for upgrade to General Class including 5 WPM code.
For further information and registration call Sam (EARS Coordinator) at 760-745-0152 or Larry at 760-519-1499 for American Legion information. Our goal is to upgrade existing hams as well as to increase membership with the ARRL and The American Legion.
Jim Cooper, NE6O, and PARC are conducting a class to help you upgrade your license from Technician to General, starting January 9 on Thursday evenings in Carlsbad and running for 12 weeks. You can still come even if you've missed the first session. If you're interested, write to class@palomararc.org. Jim sed it is not to late to join in as of Jan 18th. E-mail Jim for details.
